Introduction

Welcome to the Würth Elektronik WE-PPTI Size 1308 Tiny Push-Pull Transformers product training module. This presentation will cover low-power isolated power supplies that will operate up to 36 V. They are readily available in modular format, but simple discrete solutions offering flexibility and economy have not been as readily available, especially for voltages above 6 V. The 1308 size within the Würth Elektronik WE-PPTI series of tiny push-pull transformers coupled with the Texas Instruments SN6507 push-pull driver make an optimal solution for many applications. This module discusses the various options available, how to get the most out of the solution, and it also shows real-world test results.
