Designers can choose from 4 mm, 5 mm, or 10 mm of mechanical travel. The slim package of just 5 mm, minimizes PCB real-estate and simplifies board layout. These products have a very smooth slide with a long operational life of 5,000 cycles. There is both a surface mount and through-hole option. The surface mount is available on all of the mechanical travel lengths and the through hole option is available only on the 4 and 5 mm mechanical travel SKUs. This low cost slide pot is reliable and low maintenance and offers designers great flexibility.
