To evaluated the LGA80D, Artesyn also provides an evaluation kit. The kit contains a PCB with 2 of the LGA80D’s and some external components mounted on it to allow the user to connect to the LGA80D either via the PMBus interface with the interconnect cable and dongle provided. Or, if hardware configuration is preferred, the user can select the configuration of the modules by setting the DIP switches that are mounted on the evaluation card and enable the operation of the unit with the toggle switch provided. There are also voltage and current monitoring connections provided for the user to directly connect to.
