With no moving contact(s), PhotoMOS are superior to conventional electromechanical relays in life expectancy, contact reliability, and operational speed. PhotoMOS are offered in a variety of packages, from the traditional DIP for high-voltage switching in industrial applications, to the smallest WSSOP product, sized at just 1.45 mm x 2.20 mm x 1.75 mm, for high-density mounting in automated test equipment applications. With over 550 parts to choose from, there is a Panasonic PhotoMOS optically isolated semiconductor relay to meet the demands from a variety of industries.
