YAGEO PU Series Shunt Resistors | DigiKey Daily

YAGEO's PU series of automotive-grade current sensor shunt resistors offer excellent heat dissipation, making them ideal for applications requiring high-precision and high-power current-sensing components. A welding process technology, known as E-beam, is used for joining the central metal alloy and the copper at the terminations of these shunt resistors. Being able to achieve the outstanding heat dissipation under high ambient temperatures is made possible by use of the resistor's central open-air design. Offered in case sizes of 3921 and 5931, these shunt resistors are available in resistance values ranging from 0.2 milliohms to 5 milliohms with up to a power rating of 10 watts, and feature up to 1% precision levels. Suitable applications include power supply designs, industrial equipment, and HID (pronounced: "H-I-D") lights.
