MikroElektronika Hexiwear | Maker Minute

MikroElektronika's Hexiwear is a wearable development kit for the Internet of Things era. A small and sleek, low-power wirelessly enabled device, it can connect both to devices nearby or to cloud servers far away. Hexiwear was developed in collaboration with NXP Semiconductor, and features several NXP components including NXP’s Kinetis K64x MCU, 3D accelerometer and magnetometer, and 3-axis digital gyroscope. Hexiwear also has compatible smartphone apps available for Android and iOS so you can remotely access and log the data gathered by all its sensors. Hexiwear is a complete, open source IoT toolkit versatile enough for cutting-edge developers.
