Hirose ER8 Series Connectors | DigiKey Daily

Hirose ER8 board-to-board connectors combines high speed data with a small, rugged design for use in automotive, industrial, medical, and POS applications. The ER8 supports data rates up to 10 Gbps and has up to 120 positions with a 0.8 mm pitch. The connectors have an 85 Ω differential impedance at 35 ps rise times and offer an excellent insertion loss-to-crosstalk ratio, with plenty of margin to the IEEE802.3ap 10 Gbps spec. Connectors are available in multiple stacking heights and orientations to meet application requirements, and an increased contact wipe and insertion depth provides added resistance to shock and vibration as well as support for high-mating cycle applications.
