WSEN-PDUS Differential Pressure Sensor

Würth Elektronik's WSEN-PDUS series are differential pressure sensors that allow the measurement of pressure difference between two vertical pressure ports. The sensors consist of a MEMS-based piezoresistive sensing element and an ASIC integrated on a ceramic substrate. On-chip calibration, temperature compensation, and signal conditioning provide highly accurate pressure in both digital and analog forms. Digital pressure data can be accessed by interfacing the sensor to the host controller via a digital I²C interface. Simple communication protocol enables easy integration of the software without the need for programming internal registers.

The sensors come in a variety of pressure ranges that can measure differential pressure up to 10 bars. They are intended to be used for non-corrosive gases such as air and other dry gases. The sensors come in 13 mm x 8 mm x 7.5 mm reflow solderable surface mount package with two pressure ports on top, allowing flexible mounting.
