Würth Elektronik's broad offering of shielding cabinets protects PCBs from EMI radiation

Image of Wurth's WE-SHC Shielding CabinetsWürth Elektronik has released a broad offering of shielding cabinets to protect PCBs from EMI radiation. The WE-SHC series shields RF input, output, and amplifier stages as well as oscillators and EMC sensitive components with plastic cases.

The shielding effectiveness of these tin-plated cabinets is up to 60dB from 500MHz to 3GHz. Würth Elektronik WE-SHC series cases consists out of two components: grid frame and removable cover. The grid frame is available in surface-mount and through-hole types. The regular offering of the WE-SHC shielding cabinets includes six standard sizes.

  • Tin plate in accordance with DIN EN 10202/10203
  • Shielding effectiveness up to 60 dB @ 500 MHz to 3 GHz
  • Two-part case consisting of solderable grid frame (SMD/THT) and a removable cover.
