It delivers 100 µA active current, up to 90% lower than comparable quartz oscillators, and fits in a 1.5 mm × 0.8 mm package, up to 40% smaller than quartz equivalents. Factory programmability supports any frequency from 1.000000 MHz to 26.000000 MHz with ±50 ppm or ±100 ppm stability across -20°C to +70°C or -40°C to +85°C.

Supply options of 1.8 V and 2.25 V to 3.63 V support a wide range of portable and IoT power rails. The device drives multiple loads, reducing BOM component count and board space. Factory programmability eliminates per-frequency inventory and enables system-level optimization without redesign. Lead times of 4 to 6 weeks reduce inventory overhead and mitigate the risk of shortages risk.

SiTime MEMS architecture eliminates frequency aging, mechanical sensitivity, and activity dips associated with quartz oscillators. In power-sensitive, space-constrained designs where timing component selection affects battery life and board layout, the SiT8021 delivers MEMS reliability and programmability in an ultra-small footprint.
