Semtech's Ethernet ESD protection solutions are designed for a variety of applications
Semtech's Ethernet protection arrays provide low clamping voltage and low capacitance. Ethernet is everywhere, from telecommunications backhaul to computing connectivity to industrial networking. Ethernet has become a dominant communication standard in the electronics industry. Ethernet ports are exposed to external transient events in the form of ESD, EFT, lightning, and cable discharge events (CDE). State-of-the-art protection is needed to adequately safeguard these interfaces from the many overvoltage threats and Semtech offers ideal solutions.
