RIIM™ Development Kits

Radiocrafts' development kits are designed to provide a quick and easy-to-use evaluation and prototyping solution

Image of Radiocraft's RIIM™ Development KitsThe RIIM development kits from Radiocrafts are designed to provide a quick and easy-to-use evaluation and prototyping solution for the wireless network designer.

The three RIIM development kits include:
  • RC1882-RIIM-DK for the RC1882CEF-IPM module: 14 dBm, 868 MHz/915 MHz
  • RC1882HP-RIIM-DK for the RC1882HPCF-IPM module: 27 dBm, 868 MHz
  • RC1892HP-RIIM-DK for the RC1882HPCF-IPM module: 27 dBm, 915 MHz

They include all the hardware needed to run a small RIIM network from a PC. This allows the customer to test the network capabilities with minimum development resources needed and is ideal, for example, for a first-range test in a customer environment.

The RIIM development kits includes three boards with antennas, power supplies, as well as a USB cable for connection to a PC:

  • RIIM border router board: a development board with an IPM module
  • RIIM development board (Mesh router board): a development board with an IPM module
  • RIIM sensor board: a board with an IPM module and seven industrial sensors

The RIIM SDK PC software tool is available and can be downloaded from the Radiocrafts website. The RIIM SDK is intended to be used with the Development Kits, providing a complete prototyping solution where network characteristics can be tested and the configuration parameters can be selected.
