Sealed-Sleeve Bearing Fans
Orion Fans' sealed-sleeve series offers more flexibility and longer life expectancy than sleeve-bearing fans
Orion Fans offers a lower-cost alternative to ball-bearing fans with their extensive line of sealed-sleeve fans featuring a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. These motors are electronically protected meaning they have the ability to auto cutoff and auto restart, as well as halt when experiencing power irregularities, temperature extremes, and internal faults.
Sealed-sleeve fans function by two sleeves that are separated by a lubricant, rotating within one another. A lubrication collection cup is installed on the end of the sleeve to allow for more mounting flexibility and to catch leaking lubricant and recirculate it, extending the life of the fan, unlike sleeve-bearing fans. Orion Fans' sealed-sleeve fans can produce less noise when operating at lower speeds.
Special functions including a tachometer, PWN, and an alarm are available.
