MY05 Series Automotive Connectors

JAE Electronics automotive connectors provide high voltage and low current with a rated voltage of 1,000 V

Image of JAE Electronics MY05 Series Automotive ConnectorsJAE Electronics MY05 series high-voltage, low-current connectors with a rated voltage of 1,000 V are specifically designed to connect sensing circuits for contactors and relays with the battery management systems (BMS). This series ensures the necessary insulation distance for a 1,000 V rating (compliant with the IEC 60664-1 standard) while maintaining a compact size, contributing to the miniaturization of the BMS. Additionally, its socket connector is available with or without a CPA (connector positioning assurance) to meet diverse demands across different regions and countries. Socket terminals from the MX80 series are used for the MY05 series socket housings. The MY05 series is tested to USCAR-2/37 and LV214215 standards. Applications include BMS for battery packs used in automotive, transportation, and energy storage.

  • Rated voltage: 1,000 VDC
  • Withstanding voltage: 4,800 VDC
  • USCAR-2, USCAR-37, LV214, and LV215 tested
  • Separating ribs allow for large creepage and clearance distance to meet IEC 60664-1 requirements for pollution degree 2 and altitude of 6,000 m
  • Pin header is compatible with through-hole reflow (pin-in-paste) soldering
 
  • Socket connectors
    • Two socket connector options available: MX80 terminal type or EU standard terminal type
    • Optional CPA 
    • Pre-set side retainer for TPA (terminal positioning assurance)
