Active-S Humidity Control Products

The Active-S humidity control sheet from FiberSource is a highly effective equipment maintenance product that prevents condensation from forming within sealed enclosures due to temperature and humidity fluctuations. Active-S humidity control sheets are made of a macromolecule polymer, which is a super-absorbent material that “breathes,” providing an active exchange of absorption and release of ambient moisture. When humidity in the enclosure is high, Active-S absorbs the excess moisture, reducing humidity levels inside the enclosure. As the enclosure becomes dryer, Active-S releases or “breaths out” the moisture, maintaining relative humidity at or under 60%-65%. Generally, condensation starts to form at 65% humidity.
