SICK STR1 series safety switches are ideal for applications requiring a high level of manipulation protection. The series is available with three codes, but they are universally coded and accept all actuators as long as they have been taught in unique and permanently coded variants. These are the only actuators that the STR1 then accepts, making the need for multiple actuators obsolete.

STR1 series RFID safety switches have monitored semiconductor outputs (OSSDs) and can be safely connected either individually or in series. The sensor has three active sensor surfaces. The actuator comes in four sizes, allowing maximum mounting flexibility regardless of the space available on production lines or in applications.
