Renesas’ winning combination drive solution for heating or inductive coils improves efficiency and load control in external elements

A microcontroller (MCU) sends a pulse width modulated signal to the gate driver that efficiently connects power to the driving element or removes its charge. A comparator and amplifiers are used to monitor current flow and trigger any overcurrent events.
