The VNI2140 is dual manufactured with the latest generation of technology. That means the RDSON by area of silicon is improved versus the previous generation. A lower RDSON allows a better thermal management. The VNI2140 has an RDSON of 80 mOhm, a voltage from 9 to 36 V, and a current up to 1 A, that means a typical short circuit current of 1.5 A. The VNI2140 has all the features that were presented previously: short circuit, over-temperature protection; junction and case, protection against loss of ground, open load detection and diagnostics for each channel voltage from 9 V to 36 V and current up to 1 A.
