The LM22670 series of regulators are monolithic integrated circuits which provide all of the active functions for a step-down (buck) switching regulator capable of driving up to 3A loads with excellent line and load regulation characteristics. High efficiency (>90%) is obtained through the use of a low ON-resistance N-channel MOSFET.
The board is a 35 W, wide-range mains input, power factor corrected SMPS (switched mode power supply) suitable for all low power applications requiring a high PF (power factor), such as lighting applications and power supplies for LEDs. The low-cost L6562A and the simple flyback topology combine to provide a very competitive PFC controller solution.
This evaluation board is an offline, wide-range, VIPer22A-E dual-output power supply with a switching frequency of 60 kHz and is set up for secondary regulation with an optocoupler. One output delivers 5 V at 1 A and a second output delivers 12 V at 0.42 A, making for a total output power of 10 W.
The LM5007 Step down switching regulator features all of the functions needed to implement low cost, efficient, Buck bias regulators.
The LM5574 evaluation board is designed to provide the design engineer with a fully functional power converter based on Emulated Current Mode Control to evaluate the LM5574 regulator IC. The evaluation board provides a 5V output with a 0.5A current capability. The ultra-wide input voltage ranges from 7V to 75V. The design operates at 300kHz, a good compromise between conversion efficiency and so…
This application note describes the evaluation board of the DMOS fully integrated stepper motor driver L6228Q. The board implements a typical application that can be used as a reference design to drive two-phase bipolar stepper motors with currents up to 1 A DC.
Many appliances today use non-isolated power supply to furnish low output power required to run a micro, LED display, and a few relays or AC switches. This type of power supply has a single rectifier so as to reference the neutral to output ground in order to fire TRIACs or AC switches.
The L4981 integrated circuit is a continous mode average current controller with several specific functions for active power factor correction. It can operate in high quality, medium/high power conversion range and provides all the necessary features to achieve a very high power factor, up to 0.99. Thanks to the BCD technology used, operative switching frequency higher than 200kHz can be used.
The TPS54350 dc/dc converter is designed to provide up to 3-A output from a nominal 12-V (6-V to 18-V) input voltage source. Rated input voltage and output current range is given in Table 1−1. This evaluation module is designed to demonstrate the small PCB areas that may be achieved when designing with the TPS54350 regulator and does not reflect the high efficiencies that may be achieved when des…
* For Constant Current, the board must be modified as described on page 8 of the user guide. * Streetlight applications require that the power supply designed to power an LED lamp must have high efficiency and at least an equivalent lifetime in order to guarantee maintenance-free operation during the life of the LED.
