PSoC 4000 enables the user to design with Cypress’ SmartSense auto-tuning algorithm which sets, monitors, and continuously maintains optimal touch-sensing performance. It reduces design effort for eliminating manual tuning in design and manufacturing. The software adapts to variations in PCB, overlay, paint, and manufacturing processes and to changes in system environment due to RF noise sources. It allows a platform design approach with different overlays, button shapes, and trace lengths, and simplifies touch-sensing user interface solution development without writing any code.
