PSoC 4000 enables reliable capacitive proximity sensing. The PSoC 4000 family enables proximity sensors with a proximity sensing distance of up to 30 cm and reliable performance because of its low SNR and SmartSense auto-tuning. These proximity sensors enable aesthetic design with proximity-based LED lighting effects, enhance reliability, and durability through the elimination of mechanical contact, lower power consumption than that of other proximity sensor types, such as IR sensors, and advanced features such as wake-on-approach and spatial measurement.
