Hirose’s unique stress free contact design allows inaccuracies of coplanar PCB location and of PCB expansion/shrinkage caused by high temperature, providing reliable connection. Allowable misalignment range is ±0.5 mm in the X,Y, and Z directions. This feature absorbs location errors of connector mounting in X and Y directions and of inaccuracy of screw holes for the attachment of PCB and heat dissipation metal. It also absorbs location error caused by PCB warping in Z direction.
