RPX-2.5 Series DC/DC Buck Converter

RECOM Power's 12.5 W converter includes an integrated inductor, has an input range from 4.5 V_DC to 28 V_DC, and capable of an output current up to 2.5 A. The output voltage can also be adjusted with two resistors within the range of 1.2 V to 6 V. It has an operating temperature range of -40°C up to +85°C and an impressive efficiency rating of up to 91%. It has output overcurrent, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. The series is also class B EMC compliant with international safety certifications.

RECOM has also developed an evaluation board for testing the RPX-2.5 buck converter in regard to the output voltage selection, control, and output sensing within the application design. It is also capable of detecting any possible overload and over-temperature issues prior to implementation within the design.
