Parameters in a Configuration

To calculate the parameters in a given winding configuration, the formulas shown here can be used. The inductance L can be calculated by multiplying LBASE by the square of the number of windings connected in parallel. To calculate the rated current IR, multiply IR BASE  by the number of windings connected in parallel. Saturation current can be calculated by multiplying ISAT BASE by six and dividing by the number of windings connected in series. The number of windings in series connected multiplied by the ∫UdtBASE results in the voltage-time-product of the configuration.
