The MIC5366 has an auto discharge option, which is for applications that need to discharge the output capacitor in a certain time frame or to reset whatever needs biasing. The MIC5365/66 is ceramic output cap stable, which means that it can be operated with small ceramic caps. In addition, it offers all the standard features, thermal protection and current limit protection. This device is offered in a very small 1mm x 1mm 4-lead, thin MLF® package and is also available in an SC70 package for cost sensitive applications.
