What is a flex suppressor? A flex suppressor is similar to a sheet of paper or duct tape. It is a polymer-based flexible sheet with micron-sized magnetic powder dispersed throughout the material. KEMET offers two types of flex suppressor products. KEMET has a flex suppressor used for noise suppression in circuits and other applications. They also have flex suppressors used for radio frequency identification. These applications include ID badges or subway cards, as the technology protects the flux from interfering with other products around. Flex suppressors have many different features, but the single most important feature they offer is handy application. The customer does not need to change the design application, so there is virtually no limitation on where it can be used, and less time is required for installation.
