Available in top-entry (vertical) and side-entry (right angle) configurations, the RoHS compliant SMT headers feature insertion guides for easy and secure mating. The tin-plated copper alloy posts are reflow treated and are designed to prevent accidental pin removal during distorted mating. Tin-plated reinforcement tabs also offer strength and stability to the mounted headers. The SMT headers are packaged in embossed tape with removable suction caps (top-entry), designed for automated placement equipment.
