To accommodate these requirements for increased frequency levels, Johnson developed the High Frequency End Launch jack. It is capable of operating up to 26.5GHz. This higher frequency re-design was enabled through the reduction in size of the contact and a redesign of the insulator. The SMA interface is the unchanged industry standard.
