Sensata BEI's encoders measure precise rotary turns in industrial applications

Image of Sensata – BEI Sensors' MHM5 and MHK5 EncodersSensata BEI’s MHM series of encoders is a shafted version while the MHK series is a blind shaft version. Both have 13 bits single turn resolution and 12 bits of turns. They can be electrically interfaced with either Ethernet/IP or Profinet. Reverse polarity and short circuit protection are built-in. Lastly, turn counting is done through gears so it is immune to stray electromagnetic fields.
