High performance: Available in 13 and 26 tera-operations per second (TOPS) variants, powered by Hailo-8L and Hailo-8 neural network inference accelerators
Versatile applications: The 13 TOPS variant is suitable for tasks such as object detection, semantic and instance segmentation, and pose estimation. The 26 TOPS variant can handle larger networks, run them more quickly, and effectively manage multiple networks simultaneously
Seamless integration: Communicates using Raspberry Pi 5's PCIe® Gen 3 interface. The Hailo accelerator is automatically detected by the Raspberry Pi OS, making the NPU available for AI computing tasks

Camera support: The built-in rpicam-apps camera applications in Raspberry Pi OS natively support the AI module, utilizing the NPU for compatible post-processing tasks
Low power consumption: The Hailo-8L and Hailo-8 accelerators are designed to deliver high performance while maintaining low power consumption, making them ideal for edge AI applications
Real-time processing: The AI HAT+ supports real-time processing of AI tasks, ensuring quick and efficient execution of complex algorithms
