CSRT2512-UP Thin-Film Current-Sense Chip Resistors

Stackpole Electronics' chip resistors offer excellent long-term stability

Image of Stackpole's CSRT2512-UP Thin-Film Current-Sense Chip ResistorStackpole’s CSRT2512-UP is a thin-film current-sense chip resistor offering very high continuous power capability. Conventional film-based current sense chip resistors will normally be rated at 1 W or 2 W. Stackpole’s proprietary film structure and process provides a 3.5 W power rating, assuming a hotspot temperature of less than +105°C. The thin-film element structure of the CSRT2512-UP provides TCR of 50 ppm or better with excellent long-term stability and reliability. The CSRT2512-UP is RoHS compliant, 100% lead-free (no exemptions), and halogen-free.

The CSRT is ideal for current sensing applications such as shunt resistors, DC-to-DC converters, lighting control applications, portable battery management, voltage regulators, thermostats, small-motor controls, and sensing and detection applications. They are frequently chosen for end products such as test meters, scanners, disc-drive controllers, security and safety equipment, instrumentation, communications and networking equipment, medical monitoring devices, electronic scales, portable audio devices, consumer electronics, robotics, and commercial and roadway lighting.
