The assemblies are suitable for a wide range of temperature sensing where power semiconductors such as IGBTs, MOSFETS, thyristors, or diodes are used. The TO series sensors provide peak system performance and efficiency the semiconductors need to maintain specific temperatures. The sensors also help to prevent thermal runaway and catastrophic equipment damage; thermistors are used to detect adverse temperature conditions caused by overcurrent or overvoltage.
